The family next door used to play loud unbearable songs on their chinese speakers till 3 AM on every 31st December.
They would get drunk and cause a ruckus in the street like the absolute dehatis they are.
Last year, I called thullas on them.
It wasn't an anonymous complaint, No.
I went to their house with thullas along with me and they warned the family.
The next day the said family (baap-beta-bahu) all came to my front door and created a scene. I argued back. Did some gali-galoch and asked them to piss off.
Now this year's 31st was unusually quite and I am happy. No loud dehati music till 3 in the morning. Just silence and I love it.
