Politics or your party won't exist if nation doesn't. It was a bloody important satellite, entire research has suffered a setback of 100s of crores and worse months of delays and that is if the replacements are ordered now.
It's been one year replacement for previous failed satellites has not been ordered, nor funded.
Modi and Jitender are doing photo ops, speeches but zero tweets about the failure.
Worse we have so many private players state of the art stuff, with low budget their satellite is now lost. They are suffering a setback which can make them go bankrupt.

PSLV is ancient rocket of ISRO, they were ramping down the launches a their end i think it's last of the inhouse manufactured rockets - note they did source things from industry even if it's in -house.
Now HAL and L&T jv has full tot and they will make the rocket completely.
ISRO will continue to operate GSLV (mk2) and GSLV mk3 while working on next gen rockets of NGLV etc.
There's another startup, two of them atleast, skyroot and agnikul both are in race to have india's first private built rocket - skyrocket is aiming for launch within few months and agnikul maybe an year but close.
The issue is likely due to the lethargy, considering the PSLV team in isro must be getting stripped.
