Russian has deployed APSs on some T90Ms already, and they practically negate all ATGMs... and other projectiles with comparable speeds... and DRDOs APSs are already in prototype phase, for drones Bhargavastra was tested last year.
Even without APSs and Drone sentries AFU has done a great job and maintains favourable KD ratios...
Besides tanks aren't to be used as sledgehammers against fortified positions... bombardment carried out via air and artillery is generally better for that, the actual purpose of tanks is for rapid exploitation post breakthroughs. Ukraine used tanks as they are supposed to be in Kharkiv and pushed the Russians out a couple years back...
