Bonobos are not a real species anon, they all are simply a deviation of chimps, which is why they are found in a singular region unlike the other primate.
Bonobos also commit a lot of incest, pedophilia, and are over all a hedonistic society. One would say the reason bonobos didn't evolve as far as we did is because it is matriarchal. Females are naturally inferior, and so are societies that are led by them, specially at an early stage of life.

We don't, Bonobos is closer to us than Chimps as a whole are. It is a very small different to be quite honest. It's just that, they a proper example of what happens to a dysgenic group of it is led to its own devices. Bonobos are Dalit of the Pan species.
