Hello anons. I havent done this in a while but I particularly used to always try and emulate an otherwordly sense of cohesion through Inch.
Otherwordly in what sense? Well I've always loved the idea of being outposted, the only word I can find realiably for this is being "Outposted".
I wish the internet was sparse, not the way it is now, but more or so like radio. Ive had a subconscious image of comfort built within the idea of radios, outposts, cold weather or island storm.
I've had this feeling, an itch to scratch that inch does well, its really the only place I can feel like I'm off on my own, alone in the wild watching a post, and recieving comms behind the counter.
I've always had this childish desire that inch should feel like this, all the time. I am an old fag and Ive seen how it is ofcourse, but Ive tried my best with everything to bring this feeling alive.
I am the Kasperia guy btw. You understand then my predisposition to autism.

Although we are likely to not be as cool as I imagine, for a moment I imagine you, anon, as another individual in a far away outpost.
Listening to music on the radio, sending me signals through the CommsUnit, you may be stuck in heavy snow, or maybe you're marooned on an archipelago.
We talk about politics, about holidays, international travel. Just thinking about this causes me strong visual and emotional fields of images that are so so interesting.

Its been 2 months into this position. Im located under the Kunar region. Ever since the 1900's independence of the Kasperia regions there has been heavy attempts at regrowth for forrests to restore natural habit.
Who gives a shit though. Its boring as fuck out here. The closest Naar (Pathan nomad hostelling developed in the 20's due to a large number of travellers and mobile work force) is 74 Kms away.

Great thing is that Poppy comes under cultural protection in this region, its regulated ofcourse and no mass production. well ofcourse medicinal and personal use outside in the rest of kasperia isnt illegal only distribution is.
Ive got a bad habit for poppy, poppy and bhaang, either smoking or drinking, there's barely anything to do here.
Every month I have certain requirements to fulfill ofcourse like every last week of the month I have to visit these villagers and ask them about bullshit like if they cleared out any plots of land or how much felled wood they use, if any wildlife sighting are up.
We have a protocol, these pamphlets that we give them just general information, the higher ups are dead set on the pamphelets, physical proof of education, we dont speak dari or pashto so not much communication happens either way, but the pamphelets are an easy proof that we did something.

Well I've been working this job for about 2 years now, first six months were in southern Kasperia, central region, thick forrests, mostly cabin maintenance.
then six at the wildlife conservatory in New Lhasa, fancy fancy office, but now Ive spent a year in Afghania and 2 months in Kunar.
Its so thick here, the bush doesnt let for anything, you're blindsighted from the horizon, tall bush.
Its creepy here, god the tribals and shit. Well most of the city area is Vajarin, they follow the reformed buddhist ideal and technically so does the entirety of the north and most of kasperia, but ofcourse there's either islamist tribals or animists.
Isalmists are isolationists and dont ever talk to anyone, they feel that the religious movements in the 1600's and so on were an attempt at conversion from islam to Vajarin Buddhism, they're like the american Amish.
Animists are the old old people, they are said to be the original pagans who populated the Indic subcontinent through the hindukush.
They have, interesting stories about woodland creeps, I especially have to fucking take them for real since if I dont I might just get ostracized from every Naar or kunj.

Well the Nooristanis have their own myths. Some are quite funny.
Within the Nooristani tribals there's a tradition that if you get caught yanking your chain, you need to stand outside that night or some other day in some particular part of the forest.
I think its because the tribals have no concept of private spaces that its so easy to catch each other jacking off. If its a woman then all the other girls either ignore it or just gossip, the men are particularly wild about this.
And he has to stay the night in the forest, he can sleep if he wants but most dont, and he cannot move much, and during this period a lot of the other men fuck with the coomer.
Its strange, they're strange strange people, but the good part is that if you make the whole night you are very respected.

hate to inform you this is a semi-larp thread. In Kasperia a lot of reversions to buddhism and versions of it happened in the 1600's and by the time british rule was solidified, there was a large infracture of religion. Pagans, islamists, buddho-islamists for a while, animists, hindus, vedists and so on.
By the modern age, Hinduism and Vajarin, the kasperian state buddhism and tribal animists and certain hotspots of islamists remain, all welcome since the 1900s ofcourse.
