The worst meme is unironically jee teachers kanging on "muh World class sports facilities in IIT Bombay" after you waste prime years of your late teenage/puberty rotting chemistry equations that are supposed to be first year Bsc chem

Do they make good Engineers? Or do companies hire from IITs and NITs just because that guarantees a sample space of conscientious midwits?

honestly, the IIT/NIT hype is a massive socio economic bubble fueled by the "coaching mafia" and a scarcity mindset. we’ve built this culture where 16L bacche compete for roughly 10k IIT seats a 0.6% acceptance rate not to become innovators, but to become high skilled lkaborers, cuz the only thing we learn during JEE Prep is how to grind 14hrs daily
the 1cr package is a statistical anomaly people love to flex those "crore" packages, but they’re almost always international offers. in reality, 100k euros in europe or 120k dollars in the bay area is just a standard entry level dev salary for those regions. domestically, even at top IITs, the median is often closer to 10LPA (also 40% unemployement rate at india's most elite clg aka the IITB), and for many NITs, it can drop to 6LPA. we’re basically sacrificing our youth for salaries that are shit even if we dont consider the lack of social security.
Some Gobartard retards brag about indian CEOs running silicon valley, but we’re essentially the world’s most elite middle management. because our system kills creativity so early, we excel at maintaining existing systems rather than building new ones. the VC scene in india is part of the problem too they rarely fund original tech. they just want the "uber for india" or "amazon for india" because they’re terrified of risk just like the avg Pajeeted indian
social stunting and global perception this is the part that hurts. by forcing kids to go into total isolation during their formative years no school trips, no farewells, zero interaction with the opposite gender the system produces people who are socially paralyzed nd when these guys go abroad or get online, they lack social calibration, which leads to the creepy or desperate stereotypes that the rest of the world uses to target us. it’s a self-inflicted wound. we spend so much time on overrated competetive exams that we forget how to be human, and it makes us easy targets for racism because we’re trained to be submissive to authority rather than standing our ground
the human cost it’s genuinely depressing that even in the top 2% of the country, you’re being forced into a B.Tech when you actually want to do cinematography nd Filmmakinng (In case of me). I didnt have a Farewell, never visited a school trip in my life and barely have any friends left anymore
we’re a country of incompetent doctors and engineers who are miserable because we’ve been told our passions have zero ROI. the cost-to-reward ratio for JEE/NEET is objectively one of the worst in the world when you consider the mental health toll and median salary

PS: anyway i have the JEEM on the 23rd
Once i get into college i'm gonna start a buisness cuz there is absolutely no way i am settling for some mediocre 5 LPA desk job.
I am gonna grind as hard as humanly possible
the goal is pretty clear: i am going to hit INR:5cr mark in the next five years and keep scaling up or if for some reason i fail myself and things go south i will just resort to KMS

Thanks Traveller for reading and bye .....

It's not their fault because kids are dumb. But to shame them and ostracise them for choices that were forced on them is not ok. It's upto the next gen to stop being retards and falling for all the over hyped meme.

underage bhangi, college will eventually decide at what package you start your career for 99% of grads.
its as simple as it can be that hype of jeemains and advance is both justified, first of all you will see difference in internship opps. then you will see far better international research internship opps, also being in a good college will automatically give you 10 times more exposure than any tier 3 chamar like me who came to know that most companies that pay good care about dsa first. this is just not it btw. if you are someone into research there will better facilities in most gormint funded kalejes as compared to few handful like thapar who has their compute. just name any comparison where tier3fags win. nowhere.

also its a reminder, unless you close the gap between yourself and a tier 1 grad, it will widen and widen that you will be 40 and unemployable in some shitty IT role with no growth. you bahngis have no idea of industry and reality in itself. whole hype is justified, imagine graduating just from college like IIIT which requires 97-98 percentile and having to sit for companies that will pay you 20 base or even more if you are good at problem solving/dsa. its even harder to push through in tier 3 env when you are one of those handful who is grinding to get a good job.

yes they do, just look at most deeptech startups like skyroot aerospace and tonboimaging.

the reason i named deeptech ones because most bhangis would simply dismiss unicorns like zomato because they arent "original" despite boosting economy and creating wealth.
