It wont be just androids tho, will it? I believe the top 1% of the top 1% will always remain in charge and will never let the androids overthrow them. Humanity will be at their mercy. If they choose to cull rest of humanity, only the elite humans will remain and they may establish a new race which will have significantly higher average iq. (BTW this is the exact selection mechanism which some people believe raised the average iq of races that underwent neolithic transition).

Overtime AI will replace humans for most jobs. The midwit range 85-115 will lose their jobs first. They will have to be put under welfare. I see elites will likely start pushing for having fewer children to reduce the unnecessary livestock. Probably incentives to stay childless and entertainment and drugs to keep them distracted. Gradually those 115 iq will also be replaced by AI. It will likely be a gradual process. Only the technocratic elite who control ai will decide how things will go not you or i.

if we go by hurr durr ai can produce everything - art , media etc.
ai can write every code - create application
ai driven bots - can replace factory workers
then none of it makes sense, with current economic structure at all. even UBI would not be reasonable for the public.
or we are thinking of colonialism 2.0 where likes of usa will over produce rest of the world but again how is it supposed to work?

I am talking based on our current mean, duh. Go back to plebbit. You can be pedantic there. Now whether elites will cull the livestock or not depends on lots of variables. Will they keep selecting for superior qualities amongst themselves even after culling the rest. Will they integrate with ai and become one entity? Will they hv genetic technology to engineer themselves genetically or will there be infighting factions be amongst themselves with differing ideologies or will rest of humanity realise the threat and destroy the tech, accumulated knowledge, kill off the white race and technocrats once and for all for the good?

Yeah. Just like the neolithic transition which enabled formation of an elite class due to agricultural technology and rendered the lowermost iq members of huntergatherer societies obsolete who were then culled as part of self domestication for forming civilisations, we are undergoing a similar process and the new technocratic elite is too powerful due to power imbalance created by tech. Evolution never stopped. It has been happening at an even faster pace.
