I just looked into this claim i have read here multiple times and it turned out to be nonsense.
It was first propagated by ArainGang a notorious pakistani archaeogenetics enthusiast on twitter.
He cherrypicked samples to inflate distance for india and deflate it for europe.
Nowhere was the comparison made between (indian)s of same village of region. Comparison was made between cástes of UP which is a large state by area and population and can easily cover a large area of europe(world maps dont do a good job with mapping size of countries). And the genetic distance wasnt as high.
(I am a savarna myself but i wont support such bs ludicrous rhetoric clearly being employed by certain people with anti india agenda. Save this post and slap it onto the face of anyone you see reiterating this bullshit).

You are wrong. Even though he is paki but he correct this time. I mean you can even look and tell the difference between a uc and a lc. Also iq and lactose tolerance difference is huge between uc and lc.

I am not denying that indian (indian)s do exhibit a degree of genetic distance but thats a result of strict endogamy/inbreeding rather than racial difference. The difference in ratios of aasi steppe and iran is not that significant. Genetic distance is largely homegrown through stratification and endogamy. The twitter pakijeet was clearly exaggerating the difference.

Yes the way you can tell difference between white trash in appalachia, working class anglos and WASP elites. There are subtle differences in classes everywhere. Doesnt mean its a separate race.

This is BS. Firstly, indians as a whole arent very lactose tolerant. Even the most lact tolerant cáste the Ror jats are just 48% tolerant.
Secondly, lactose tolerance follows a more IVC to periphery gradient than cáste gradient. LCs in NW india are highly lactose tolerant especially pastoralist LCs and midcástes.
