True. If you try to build aircraft without learning how to build components first, you end up with aircraft like the tejas. 0 exported, 0 combat experience and 3/38 already ACKED. Forget that, India doesn't even fully design car engines. I work in the auto industry, and most engine design is done using external consultants. The only saving grace is India can write a few lines of mediocre code.
