He spent his entire life living through someone else. His entire world revolves around other people. He's not the main character of his own life.

Best way to learn what are the things you should be learning or focusing is to go through the companies you have interest in, look at their requirements.
Contact those who have cleared these companies and ask for guidance.
Basics are same for everyone, maths helps, dsa, cp, etc.
Good portfolio once again would do da jaab.
Ensure healthy cgpa. Don't be a dude who thinks he is better than everyone just cuz in the early few days he got few answers correct.
