I do not. My vote holds absolutely zero value. At the end of the day, people will vote based on cast/jaat/dharam of the candidate. The next leader will be just as useless and ghonchu as the last one. If, for some reason, you ever get a good and meritorious candidate "A", it's definite that he will lose by an overwhelming majority against candidate "B" who was voted based on his identity. Meri vote ka kya hua?
What we need is a system like Russia or China but with a slight twist. Give someone absolute leadership and authority for 3 years. How will this leader be chosen, you ask? Well, a group of highly skilled people such as senior lawyers, judges, technocrats, and experienced public servants could form a competency board that will evaluate potential candidates. These individuals would be chosen based on their own merits, experience, and public trust, rather than political affiliation or jaat/dharam.
The chosen leader will be given absolute authority to develop the nation for 3 years. At the end of 3 years, evaluate his performance. If he failed to do significant development within this timeframe, change/execute him immediately and bring in the next leader. If he fails as well, change him with the next one. Do this until you get a leader who can actually develop the nation and let that leader keep power indefinitely or, till he stops performing. What are your suggestions?
India will never become vishvaguru as a democratic nation in its present form. That's the truth.

i don't plan on voting. when the guys came for the SIR drafts I didn't go, because what is the use of my vote
I don't like khangress, but after seeing actual vote chori happen in KA with bhajpa i don't believe in India's framework of institutions anymore. Abuse of the system by those in power is practically guaranteed here, you are considered an outlier and weak if you don't. The only thing left between whatever India is right now and totalitarian states is the large English-speaking, white-collar middle class in metro cities across the country that would riot if something happened before they all exodus, effectively destroying the industries that prop up India.
That being said, I don't think we should follow the path of the US and become a bi-party state either. I honestly think the best thing we can do is have an (almost) direct democracy like the Swiss Confederation so people can build a system they can trust. When the incentives for bribery, thieving and inefficiency are wiped out nobody would be inclined toward corruption

Yaar, even if no votes were stolen, you'd end up with another loduprasad bhosadpappu of a different political party. Not a single politician in India is good. All are madarchods of the highest order.

That might only happen if we get a totalitarian gobermint for a few years. Not like North Korea level of tanashahi. No. More like Russia/China.
