I am a mech e tard passed out in 2019, did 4 years prep for UPSC and state PSC. Missed both by small margin, have been working as mech er. in local company earning like 20k a month. I am 27 years old now.

I have spent some time learning WEBDEV, html css JS. i am gonna jump on react, nodeJS but i am very anxious now.

i feel like AI is gonna massacre IT jobs in india, I love the Idea of govt jobs now, even a chaprasi will suffice as indian private sector is filled with old uncles with various mental health issues unloading their frustrations on juniors and i feel like it is very hierarchical in nature and i am bad at office politics and shit.

what to do anons ? maybe i can crack govt job in few years or so ? should i focus on getting into IT ? i hate working for PVT sector with these losers who are insecure about their career and try to sabotage me. I know govt job is retarded too but at least they cant fire me and i can just waste away life at a decent pace and take it easy with life. on the other hand a well paying IT job is so good bros.

I think the only way out is doing some business, even if its small like a departmental store. You can declare your own holidays, you can declare your own timings, you just have to start small. I don't know. There's no escape unless you literally escape Paneerland.

Also, they may not fire you but they'll transfer the shit out of you. Your family will struggle alot trying to keep up with the transfers. These insecure fucks will not do anything to improve themselves but will just try to bring everyone down to their levels.

i was way too idealistic and had low life experience i guess. I took way too much risk with UPSC only as a target.what would i change ? i would get into CSE and get an IT job right out of kalej and move to banglore asap, i am exactly the kind of person whod be an IT coolie. Biggest regret is that i spent precious years of youth being closed in my room studying dreams and ideals of a failed state like india instead of taking risk irl and learning about REAL india.
