My cousin just got into a top IIT whereas I am a tier 3 sarkari college fag doing CSE btech. And obviously my baap isn't happy about that, he's still holding grude over his I fucked jee.
My current CGPA is 7.9 and will be starting with third year. What steps I need to take from this point at atleast compete with my cousin if not fully overtake her. Is this even possible?

Don't compare yourself to others, focus on yourself. Solve DSA problems on leetcode every single day, do a side project on something that really interests you. My parents are giving me shit even after getting a 12lpa job in placement because my cousin got 55lpa. You literally can't win against Indian parents. I just ignore them and live upstairs in my house and tell them not to bother me because I have ""work"".
