i already got 20k air in jee mains 2023 , i was thinking if i should pursue upsc , is it doable , worth it ??

i am only 19 , and i didnt took drop for jee and cracked it without dummy school.Ifi prepare diligently for 3 years for upsc i might get some group a job , but i will get 20 lpa package at least if i go private.

Depends yaar, do you even find it aligns with your goal? Unlike SSC, JewPSC takes time and some unholy dedication for memexam due to the sheer size of the fucking syllabus yara.

Depends, private jaab gives you more money. If money is not the end goal, and you have some position in your mind you desperately want, you should go for it.

You kind of summed it yourself. If you go for the private line, you can easily get more than 12 lpa tbh. On the other hand gober mint only gives you jaab security and calls it a day. I wish to crack JewPSC for the novelty factor and because it is boring in private.

Yes if you want a specific job UPSC gives you, no if you strictly want financial sucess. Also use the Punjab flag yara.

Why JEE then, arts leleta pura din khali. Engineering is very different from humanities and I recommend first try out things in your Btech years and then make the decision

One of my friend had the roadmap

2 yrs coaching ---> 4 years IIT(B/D/M) ---> UPSC prep

This yaar i know my friends parents work as archaeologists in some govt job, both of them make over 80lpa each. Assets over 2 cr. He is going to an Ivy League for btech and easily can afford the full fees

go for upsc 99% chance youll fail cus upsc is no jee its 10x tougher and competition is insance cus in jee u compete w school teens but here its ppl who phds , double phds, iit degrees , already govt job holders and sc certifcate too
