I didn't have a hard time in college, but now, I feel like I have forgotten almost everything after spending a while as a NEET.

You cram anything without any goal you will forget...

Application oriented learning usually lasts. Even things which i was good at i forgot cuz i didn't apply them or didn't get the chance to apply them.

But during studies, most of the syllabus in most colleges no matter the quality is well maintained so if you are learning one thing it has correlation with other thing if you are good you can link those and have better understanding.

College won't make you expert, it can give you glimpse at possibilities...

Intuitive learning basically for example if you look at foreign ytubers like 3blue1brown making videos on mathematical topics they try to explain it in a way the viewer get ti understand the Intuition behind and can think about it critically jeet "educators" on the other hand will make videos on same topics solving multiple questions of it and saying "beta Esa Esa karna he" " is Saval ke ye step to bilkul rat lp ye 2004 Unga bunga exam me Aya tha" basically jeet students are made accustomed to excessive amount of hand holding none of us think critically and science is a burden for most of jeets a mean to get a job not to understand how complex systems works what do mathematical concepts actually say jeets just grind for gobermint exam like a chimp and then kang about it for the rest of the life

Teaching is a scammer type job in 99% cases unless you try to ask doubt from someone exceptionally intelligent and expert in their field.
