will i go somewhere better if i die, /b/ros? or does it just end? a lot of times i wonder if there's really such a thing as reincarnation. if souls are given another chance. and if so, do we get to choose? who we become, where we're born, what kind of life we'll live? or are we just thrown back into the same brutal cycle, doomed to repeat the same mistakes?

Everything depends on how do sanskaras on your atman i.e. it holds the memory of your deeds. According to those deeds you get your next life. You should read Gita once to understand how exactly it works. Only sanskaras done on this atman goes with you rest you have leave it here including your body. Body is mere an instrument.

If consciousness is physical then maybe somewhere far away in the universe the perfect combination of neurons might align to scientifically reincarnate your consciousness, with enough luck and time which considering the universe is infinite and how there could be multiple universe all infinite in expanse it is almost mathematically guaranteed that your consciousness will immediately reincarnated after death with some more luck even reincarnated with all your memories.
Imo we just go to different universe where we didn't commit sudoku after we die.

If u die you get free. When you think about it this way living has no meaning so if you kill yourself u will not be missing out on nothing
