Their main issues are more related to an ageing population, which western countries tried to delay with immigration which lead to widespread decay in social trust. Which once again is a result of capitalism.
Socially I would say, most western countries peaked in the 90s. Economically, maybe America stayed peak till the 00s. Afterwards it was just progressivism for progressivism's sake and trying to make da finance jooz happy with their charts.
