Hindu kings whenever they got chance rebuilt the temple destroyed by invaders, for e.g Somnath temple or the kashi temple
Even in present day, hindus rebuild the Ayodhya temple
On the other hand, buddhist kings never did this, there temples were destroyed by invaders too but they didn't tried to rebuilt them
I know unlike hindus, buddhists didn't had strong position at the time of islamic invasions, but what about past, when hindus converted buddhist temples, they never recovered them
Why?

>when hindus converted buddhist temples.
That never happened. Another commie propaganda. Hindu, jain and buddhist idols often existed in same temple complex where followers of all 3 traditions would worship. Sometimes villagers would accidentally discover a long forgotten buddhist shrine or idol and start worshipping it as a hindu deity. Doesnt mean they were converting it deliberately lol. Moreover, hindus and buddhists both engaged in criticising each other but it never led to sectarian violance. They would also often borrow from each other for eg mahayana buddhists co opting hindu deities, vajrayana co opting tantra, hindus co opting buddha as avatar of vishnu and buddhists co opting shiva and vishnu as forms of Avalokiteshvar, so for common folk the line of difference between 2 faiths was often blurry.

Yes, also the violence that may have occured was due to kings trying to expand rather than religious bigotry
