Why christian/european aesthetics make any horror movie, including jeetwood horror movies, 10 times better or creepier? Is it just a socially constructed perception or is there anything inherentely unique about those aesthetics that they sit so well in horror movies?

I think a movie about a tantrik going after dayans, chudail, brahmarakshas or a jinn can be equally terrifying. Problem is that pajeets have to add an unwanted romance plot in every movie and also the retarded monkey dancing for some reason, takes out all the suspense and horror out of the movie.

I suspect theres something inherent about christian/european aesthetics that make them suitable for horror films. Take jeetwood movies like 1920 franchise, haunted 3d for example. Christian/elizabethan aesthetics do give them an edge over standard jeet movies. Or i might just be wrong and jeets just need to make better films and set new standards.
