Why is the Tejas so bad? I'll list the crash percentage - (crashes/number of aircraft built) and list the percentage for a few jets-
Tejas - 2 crashes for 38 aircraft - above 5% crash rate
F35- 12 crashes for 1200 aircraft - 1% crash rate
Gripen- 8 crashes for 300 aircraft - 2.5% crash rate
Paki JF17 - 5 crashes for 186 aircraft 2.6% crash rate
Why does the Tejas have a high crash rate? Is it because of reservation in Defence PSUs, poor maintenance of aircraft or bad pilot training?

Look, the Tejas programme started in the 1980s. That's an awful long time. One of the highlights of the the Tejas was it had 0 crashes. But that changed in this year with 2 crashes in a short period. If faggot pakis can make the JF17 with lower crash rate in less development time (and lower cost) , why can Indians?

Russia, China and the western powers don't delay their deliveries for the plane's components to Pakistan. Pajeets need to shake off their delusions and realize their only friends are their own institutions, Tejas is a good program for a light interceptor plane and costs less per flight than the Su's. The program should continue along with AMCA, advanced 5th gen planes cost a lot; both for the purchase and upkeep, you can't have more than a couple squadrons of those.

Maybe hire everyone from mechanical and aerospace branches of top tier IITs and make them work in defence for good salary. Most people in Defence PSUs are tier 3 kalej grads. Tier 3 grads aren't very smart. I'm saying this as I went to tier 3 kalej (mechanical engineering). Also the smart kids only do CS. the only people doing mechanical and aerospace in india are people who got bad ranks in competitive exams.
