The true problem does not start at the innovation stage, but rather at the mass-adoption stage when we can use the new technology at steadily reducing cost.
There is no use of being a Luddite. We should just embrace change as it happens.
There might come a stage when the IQ barrier for gainful employment becomes so high that most people become unemployable. We would need UBI then.
