Usually higher paying job may have stress but if it's half decent company you will not see such environment of belittle etc. Anyway this is my struggle because my mental health got cooked and barely able to take care of my closed ones due to job.

20k is nothing, a simple AC costs close to 30k to 40k. You will end up with loans and emi. In general you will end up with EMI and loans even at 2lpa. Needs never end.
But quality of life improves for certain. Considering the state of society earn as much as you can, have health insurance, have savings.

AC is not a necessity thoughbeit. One can make do with a cooler. Point is, taking loan is not a necessity unless you are buying luxurious items or it's a health emergency and you don't have insurance.

Anyway it was a choice i can't imagine a life with 20k, 2lakhs per month is bare minimum requirements.

It certainly can. He was actually following a healthy no sugar lifestyle and was regularly doing exercise. Even the daaktar said that it was most certainly linked to stress, since his lifestyle was fine but his jaab was too exhausting.
