I eat turkey, and a lot of pork though. It's there in Tonkotsu ramen, Chinese pork noodles, sausages, and bacon with eggs. Tastes very different but you get used to it

I took the sat when i was in 11th, most people take it in 12th. I got a 1540 (780 Math, 760 EBRW) and applied for colleges starting Oct-Nov to Jan during 2nd half of 12th.

Kinda true to an extent, but if you have good enough academics (like, 1500+ SAT, good marks in 9th, 10th, and 11th) and maybe a few competitions/olympiads it's more than enough. I personally didn't do anything other than being the editor for my school's monthly magazine, play basketball for my school team (not that great compared to others back in bhangilore honestly) and was in a school club (nothing interesting though, it was just for dicking around. Some of my friends in other clubs used to build massive rockets and shit, some used to go to MUNs, etc)

Fuck no. I remember laughing at the guys who had counselors to look at their essays, recommend colleges etc. I researched everything myself. Applying to college was pretty fun compared to actually going to college ;-;

nahi yaar, oldfag anons who have seen me greentext here will know how shit it really was. i was in a large high school with 250+ students in my class, yet had only 1-2 friends and went multiple days without a single conversation or contact with anyone, whether class, cafeteria, bus or on the court where I used to play basketball. There were very few girls in my classes and all were mid but still taken. I used to skip school a lot because of how depressing and lonely it was
