My only true dependency is youtube. I think it's the only good social media outside there, even though the quality has come down in the age of AI and the crackdown on advertisement unfriendly stuff.
Other than that, I also use steam a lot but that's only because GOG isn't easy to use in India.

i have given the reasoning too. all my 0s are quite literally 0s. i dont have any soycial media ACKounts. i dont stream anything. i have also written what i use something for if its non 0

None of you larpers are real off the grid. That's more than just not using big tech, it's about being self-sufficiennt. Only when you don't have to depand on the state for things like electricity, can you really say you're off the grid.

oh i am not off-the-grid in that sense. i agree to it. i plan on going off-the-grid though. ted kaczsynski was right. once i earn enough i will go to my khet, farm and live there. its all planned. maybe i wont, but atleast for now i have a plan in mind.

I have a tution teacher who did it somewhat. Still depands on some stuff, but it's very cool how he has sonal panel and bee hives. It's all very self sustaining too, with stuff form one part being used elsewhere.

i unfortunately cant cut any of those. i cant cut whatsapp because thats how communication happens here. i am up for using SMS but others arent ready to comply. amazon can be cut but its not even substantial. i just use it to buy books. i can suffice with the ones in book stores but sometimes i really want to read something which isnt available offline. also i like reading physical books :(
i cant cut maps. if i cut it, i either use mapmyindia. same thing. i can download a local one but ... ig i will do this, besides i dont travel myself and just use public transport. thanks anon.
