Lets assume arabs were always a violent people due to their tribal pastoral lifestyle in the desert and islam being violent is just the reflection of that. But how did islam turn people who were once peaceful hindus into such zombies?

Avarnia are not Hindus and they were kicked out in masses like Gypsies. They kind of appropriated islam in their own way. You take a shit ideology and give it to bunch of monkeys, congrats you get a shitfest.

Wherever Brahminical Hinduism was strong islam didn't penetrate
For Pakistan region , lots of invasions from various invaders caused destability
For Bangladesh region , east kanglus were mostly animist and or non-hindus so Islam was able to take hold easily.
A lot of syncretism in these regions as well.
Like worshipping maa and Allah and stuff

I remember seeing one that explained rise of islam in Kerala as well, but I doubt those are as good as this, or as detailed.

Muslims arent just avarnia. Indian ones are mostly from lower casts like majdoors, weavers, butchers, telis etc. but that doesnt make them avarnia and in sindh, punjab and kashmir islamisation was near complete and all casts converted including higher ones.

True but I actually noticed, a parallel to Mopla revolt in these cases. LC and Avarnia who are infact not Hindus, use islam to attack not only savarna Shudras but also UC's, after which they will have no choice but to convert or die.

East bengal was entirely the creation of mughals which is why its overwhelmingly muslim. It was a backwater until mughals deforested it, brought agriculture and urbanisation and placed sufis in charge resulting in near total islamisation. Look into R. Eaton's research.

No it wasnt. Yes in west bengal region, palas were buddhists but commoners were hindus/shaktas. Distinguishing dharmic religions doesnt work to begin with. Unlike abrahamic religions you cant sort them into boxes with clear separation. Doesnt work in indian context. Syncretism was common. Kings were be patrons of all faiths, hindu, buddhist, jain places of worship would often be within same complex and there was no concept of state religion, heresy, apostasy and prosetylastion.
Also, unlike west bengal, east bengal wasnt even a much cultivated region before mughals. West bengal had strong presence of shaktism which is why it still is.

>Most of the convert regions were Buddhists.
That statement is non sensical. Saying things like a place was buddhist, jain or hindu is inaccurate as the distinction was never sharp. Those werent abrahamic faiths. Thats a very western way of looking at indian history. Buddhism was elite religion at times but the commoners followed their own thing.

Technically it's not. It's just retards are easy victims. Just take a look at all Dalits who quite literally migrated to Pakistan. All gone, wiped out, en masse. Same for Sikhs, (khatri and jatt) and it's not a castu thing alone, it's just self destructive empathy, and retards are some a dozen.
