We should model manuever brigades and battalions as the US does... give up this Ruski-British fusion doctrine of medium linear armour assault across the front and hope you make a breakthrough somewhere...
We need proper heavy MBTs, weight absolutely does not matter as long as it is "light" and "small" enough to fit on the extended bogie... as for bridges they ought to be upgraded, and those in the enemy's land have always ended up blown up for any advancing army in all of history, we will rely on our avlbs either way... and those 4-5 brigades should be into a combined arms division, which follows mission tactics, advanced armoured warfare and has access to all the modern support assets mentioned.

Also, IBGs are absolutely not it, they can only barely sustain ops for 3 days at max because of how short they are on infantry support... besides the doctrine of Cold Start is a fantasy either way. If we want to be a superpower we must prepare for large scale conventional assaults.
