BJP is giving up on UC because half of UC are actually mid wits, and half of them fall by same logic for for lefty psyop. Thus they are hoping if they can please Dalits, they can please those UC as well. Problem is, if they really want to take any action to solidify their stance as pro dalit they need to bring up what INC does which can be classified as "bad", for Dalits.
