sanskrit was a "derived", or as they call it a perfected language, one with a prroper grammar, it makes sense that illiterate ooga bogga tatti cleaner abbos did not speak it, Latin is its European counterpart
Bhangis do not know this but the written form of their ooga bogga was created by Brahmins too, they simply added sanskrit grammar and words to it, that is why many languages like Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam and even Tamil have many sanskrit words.
Tamil Abbos literally had to launch a "de sankritisation" program of their own language to make it appropriate to kang over, idk how successful they were.

sanskrit is very similar to latin
major works like Newton principa or gauss, Euler other intellectuals important works are published in Latin
Latin was language of intellectuals in pre industrial Europe because of roman church influence
with modernity and rise of protestants the influence of latin kinda fade away
similarly British introduced English education and English became our intellectual language replaced Persian and sanskrit

Sanskrit was primarily used as an elite language. When Hindus Brahmins stopped being the elite, it died. Simple as. First or was Muzzies and replaced by Persian and then later it was British and replaced by English.

Sanskrit never died. There are more sanskrit speakers today than there were in the past. It's just that it's not a official language. But most north indians can use sanskrit as their third language afaik.

That's true for most 'dead' languages including Latin.
>most north indians can use sanskrit
Iirc, it was second language in cbse schools in only those places where Hindi was the first language. Not all North Indian regions use Hindi as first language and not everyone studied in cbse.

no it's not lol. north indians or most indians can choose sanskrit as a third language. >>545450

Usually in mainland north you will see Hindi, English and Sanskrit combo.
>Not all North Indian regions use Hindi as first language and not everyone studied in cbse.
Most naarthies get atleast few classes of sanskrit. CBSE is the dominant board.

Everything you said is untrue starting with
>CBSE is the dominant board.
There's only around 25000 cbse schools in the whole country. If it was indeed the most dominant board, then it UP itself would've that much cbse schools.

cbse quite literally is the standard idk what is this new cope now
>Yes, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the dominant and most popular school education board in India. It is widely recognized as the premier national board, commanding a massive network of over 27,000 schools in India and 240+ schools abroad.
>The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has the highest number of schools in India, with over 29,000 affiliated schools as of 2024. It is a national-level board managed by the Government of India, widely recognized for its balanced curriculum
Rest of the state boards existed who most of the time just follow downstream of cbse. CBSE is closer to the standards laid out by the GOI.
ICSE is likely second most relevant board but even they are now aligned with CBSE.

>Availability: Sanskrit is taught from Class 1 onwards, with specific, detailed, and mandatory options in higher classes.
>Yes, the UP Board (UPMSP) teaches Sanskrit. It is available as a subject in Classes 1-12, often as part of the curriculum for high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) examinations. The curriculum includes prose, poetry, grammar, and translation, focusing on subjects like Sanskrit Gadyabharti and Padyapiyusham.
UP has highest population in india if we combine these data we get a population akin to pakistan with capability of understanding basic sanskrit. Dayummm.

>CBSE
>ICSE
Being dominant in the sense large part of the students belonging to that board. Most Indian students study in State board schools and they don't follow the cbse standards to the T and get away with many things to make students pass easier. Many state boards don't bother that much with third language education because that's the subject most students struggle with passing.
