Not enough monies in Lundia to create a global startup.

Same reason why you will never see one from Poland, Lithuania or even Russia.

But is there a culture problem in Indian entrepreneurship? Being a libertarian, I honestly believe government should do the bare minimum. I don't like the idea of them funding startups. They should rather bring other private angel investors to the country.

DGH Please don't fall for this bs propaganda. Many industries in SK and Japan started as a cooking appliance manufacturers.

Every business finds or starts at different niche, once they have money they get into different R&D etc.

These startups are more risk taking than any elites of the country.

First there should be a proper revenue source they have established with whatever means available. The scale of operation by likes of zomato itself is no joke, imho.

OLA despite all the criticism is building Lithium ion battery industry and got a top guy who worked in SK, he earns more than CEO himself btw. Gigafactory etc. it shows the risk taking ability of these guys.

Zomato is venturing into other businesses.

There are indian startups in hard tech, PLI should be extended to them - which government is doing btw. OLA etc. are participating in the manufacturing related to Batteries.

Yea, I think government should also provide funds like they did with pli for manufacturing. Also I didn't understand what exactly you mean about culture problem.
