Xbox's decline began in the middle to later period of xbox 360 itself. Despite getting a headstart that generation, they wasted their lead by marketing itself as the dude bro console with no unique exclusive.
They're later transition to a media box over a game box with xbox one only ruined their deal even though imo, they had a better launch line up than ps4.
The classic xbox may have been the halo machine for normalfags, but they also had amazing exclusives like jade empire, morrowind etc all were forgotten for just halo, forza and gears.
