Height is very much dependent on nurture too, its plausible to believe that the traits associated with your current height were always present in your bloodline but weren't ever properly utilized because of poor diets. This isn't even a new thing, almost all urban kids are taller than their parents, sometimes by a lot. Apart from that you have already admitted that your maternal family was considerably worse off than your paternal, individual cases aren't that relevant. There is still a possibility that you can find a match like your father did but you will have to search for a while.(and not on Matrimony apps)
