I feel like I am destined to be a failure no matter how hard I try. Everything I touch turns to shit. I'm like King Midas in reverse.
My lack of charisma/confidence penetrates every area of my life and fucks up my chances no matter how good my work is.
People with lesser talent have more success because they understand social norms and know how to influence people.
Somehow people are never ever drawn towards me. No matter what I do for them. They don't hesitate to use my work or use me when required but they never return the favour. I thought by being useful to others I can gain influence and friends, but somehow the reverse happens.
Meanwhile I have seen people who are unreliable, sloppy, and incompetent continuing to be loved and respected just because of their charisma and don't give a fuck attitude.
I feel like the whole world is a massive popularity contest.
