I don't think 98% of Indians know the importance of caste. They think its merely a religious construct which kangers want to uphold.
Some even go a step further into claiming that we should let the nature take rein and let people mix up with each other which in turn will produce best genetic results according to their "calculations and theories" about demographic evolution.
The objective of this thread is to hear out more such theories "for" the existence and evolution of caste system. The more absurd the better.
We are not here to debate about its pro and cons but only to learn about how different minds perceive this system in different vibrant forms.

Idk "importance" but I dislike the caste system because it prevents people from seeing me as an individual. They only see me as member of XYZ jaat despite my achievements, my character, my mind, my mannerisms.
