i am not into gambling myself. aadhe time to bina paise ke khelte the, initially bhangis used to go all in due to no fear of loss but then if you lose, you need to walk out. the FOMO overpowered the bhangis and no one would go all in. rest of the time we had a miniscule buy in of 50rs. and only 2 buy ins were allowed. clg mai to maine bhi ikka dukka baar hi khela hai ladkio ke saath kyuki zyadatar time hostel mai khelte the. office aake khelna shuru kiya hai ladkiyo ke saath. the added factor is most people play it drunk (dont judge, i am teetotaller). this makes it more enjoyable.

With how much money do you guys play with? I feel most people play without stratergy and you can fuck them over if you know how to play pre-flop. You need to fold 80% of your cards preflop to actually suceed (unless preflop pot isn't big, then you can stay).

yaar it depends. i play with 2 groups of people, one are my actual friends who play with no money involved (they still play sincerely tho), the other is my teammates. 500 buy in is the norm. they also play with higher amounts but i dont play with them in that case. also i rarely play with them. bas team "party" ke timd khelta hoon.

Why not? I feel you arent playing the actual game if you play w/o money, going all in is meaningless without money, and you don't expereince the thrill of the game. Me and my friend are planning to have 500 or more buy in tournament after the semester ends.

I went to Goa casino went time with father and bid 10k. Then we won 50k and spent 2 hours burning through 30k trying out all the games and came out with 20k
It was a fun time and later i found out that that letting newbies win first game is a strategy casinos use

stakes have to be real for it to be fun and less luck dependent, doesnt mean you have to throw 100s of rupees, you can use low denominations, for example in hostel we did 100 chips=10 rupees games, which resulted in good fun games.

We do 50 rupees per person, for a combined stack of chips. But tournament style, you need to play until you are eliminated or if you get bored you can sell it to someone else and leave. Winner takes all.
