those are nice picks. but ray and benegal have too many kinos under their belt. also special mention om-dar-b-dar. it literally got me into that trance like state, the same while watching serial experiments lain. its a good film in itself but just be high on sleep / drugs to maximize effects. KINO BOMB.

I was staying at the house of my uncle's friend when it came out because of uni exams and stuff. I had an exam the next day but he just booked tickets for his entire family and also for me to watch the movie. I kept telling him, "Uncle ji mera kal paper hai. Mujhe padhna hai. Mai nahi jaa paunga." And what did I get? "Shut up blaady. Paper-vaper ki ma ki choot. Stop being anti nashnul and come watch kashmir files with me and my family."
Fortunately I did not fail the exam, but during the entire movie, all I was thinking of was my exam. Not a fun way to watch a movie at gunpoint like that.
