Based modiji. Defense PSU nignogs should be ACKED publicly for their incompetence . TASL, L&T,Reliance,adani and Mahindra aerospace should be awarded ALL the contracts. The rafale deal is a step in the right direction. It will be made by private sector with ZERO HAL involvement. Dassault refused to certify rafales made by HAL in 2014. But they have agreed to work with TASL. Because TASL actually employs competent human being. Their going to start delivering the C295 in a few months time. Even AMCA deal will go to TASL & L&T.

HAL has their plates full. Let them handle TEJAS MK1 & 2. LET DRDO develop the systems and let TASL handle the integration and production. Idk why your shitting in TASL. They make the control systems for Indias nuclear submarines. They also are the global supplier for Lockheed martins C-130 Airframe components. And Lockheed martins quality control standards is a lot better than whatever HAL can make. And the other advantage is that they can dig into TATAs deep pockets for capital investment. So the taxpayer burden is reduced. Idk why you're so bullish on HAL. Last thing anyone wants is AMCA arriving 20 years late like the Tejas did.

i had image of the technical evaluation scores but i just realized cockroach mahindra who was literally celebrating when tejas mk1a crashed had lowest score of around 50 or so.
minimum expected was 80 or so. tata was one of two firms which cleared the minimal benchmark.

idk if you know HAL itself no longer manufactures the airframes of the tejas, it is just the performs the final assembly now with most of the startups including L&T etc. which provide the sub parts.

i think that's the plan, this time government wanted private firms to bid for the partnership for production with DRDO. most of them failed, TASL did well 85 or so marks in evaluation report by drdo.

True. And the other problem is india chose to focus on building good colleges like IITs instead of focusing on primary education. I wish India had better primary and secondary schools. I have nothing against IITs, but they are a kalej which filters out smart high IQ students and gives them good placement. So where is the value addition ? Kids in countries like israel are taught how to think outside the box and build a mental framework to solve complex problems. I guess that's not possible in a country with 1.4 billion people. All my teachers I had in school were people who hated their jobs and used to vent out personal frustration on students. As a result, no student really had any interest in anything.
