also interesting fact, we know about mauryans, guptas but there was another first pan indian culture predating these two - parallel to PGW but eventually triumphs over PGW post battle of ten kings / fall of kurus.

Yeah. Vedas record their emigration. Though many tribes also likely stayed, assimilated into vedic arya culture and their genetics likely persist in people of those NW regions.

They are part of wider indo iranian family which included Aryas/Kurus but they werent aryas. Arya people and culture emerged in Haryana region along Sarasvati river. Dasyu tribes fled westwards and founded iran and avestan culture.
