Looks like Access 125 has an ABS right now. Jupiter and Activa doesn't have it. Somehow Jupiter is cheaper than Activa which costs 10k more than Jupiter. Jupiter has a bigger boot space. So weird that a motorbike (Hero Shine) is cheaper than these scooters.
What's the point of putting a disc brake on a scooter?

I would assume same thing as putting them on bike, sharper brakes.

Wait for some time. ABS has been made mandatory on all motorcycles and scooters.
Also, I'd recommend Jupiter
>Front fuel filler cap
>Under feet fuel tank (higher crash safety)
> Bigger under seat storage ( can keep 2 helmets)
>Mild hybrid system (slightly better mileage)
Motorcycle is cheaper than scooters?
Because motorcycles have manual tranny. Scooters have CVT gearbox (more expensive)

The circular was released on June if I'm right.
I was waiting for January tbh. I still don't see anything. Only Access made the move and just released ABS variant. YESTERDAY.
>Under feet fuel tank (higher crash safety)
Oh, cool. I didn't know this. I saw that the fuel cap is in the front and not at the back or the side in Jupiter.

Ya. The circular was released in June. But Bajaj and other indian manufacturers chimped out and complained to the Indian govt That ABS would make bikes and scooters too expensive. So negotiations are taking place. If your driving isn't too high, you can go for some EV like TVS iQube or chetak. Lots of good EVs in the market.

All that talk aside, always prefer scooters over some chapri 125cc bikes.
scooters are gear less plus have space to carry luggage, 125cc bikes are literally garbage, torque they produce is too less, so you keep changing gears, which eventually dies, companies nowadays are shitting out 125cc bikes with nice looks and sound just to sell them to retards.
In lundian city traffic, either get a scooter if you are single or a small car if more than 2 people.
If you must get a bike, then buy atleast 150cc one, all > 200cc ones are for enthusiasts and have zero value on lundian urban roads, you will keep paying for petrol, buy them only if you travel on highways all the time.
Over all for anyone living in Tier -1/2 city, scooter or a small car is the best deal.

I don't have any facility to charge the vehicle at my place. It's too cramped.

First they say all vehicles above 125cc needs to have ABS so they start producing 124.5cc scooters to cut costs, and now this.

Just aiming for scooters. I don't trust myself to drive a bike yet.

Modern 125cc bikes have become so smooth it's unreal. It's not 2016 anymore
My glamour x125 runs like a butter. I think introduction of bs6 made all the difference
