yeah that falcon shaped altar is specifically used in south India. Actually that was the original vedic altar for some special purposes but north Indian hindus stopped using it after Muslim invasions.
In modern times the South Indians use that altar without proper knowledge just to larp as more religious than the north Indians to 'own' us northies.
North Indian brahmins even warn them to stop using that design without proper knowledge but these dravidianized brahmins don't listen.

fake theory I suppose ?
Nair women look better than other Kerala non-brahmin women in general.
Only some syrian christian and middle east ancestry women look comparable.

What? Nair one? Genetic matches are there and it also alligns with their own origin stories

I have a theory those are the brahmins that converted when Christianity initially arrived in Kerala, or I could be totally wrong, if you have something on them then do share.

Nair ethnogenesis seems to be a result of a base population resembling UP Kshatriyas mixing into a group that had genetics akin to the Todas (high farmer, lower India_M and CentralSteppe_MLBA).
Nairs fall on a cline along these two points.
Nambudiri mixing being their ethnogenesis isn't likely because:
- Nairs make up ~15% of Kerala's population, Brahmins make up ~1% of the population.
- Nairs cline to a higher India_M:Farmer ratio point than that of Nambudiri Brahmins.
So from these points it's safe to conclude that they are of a distinct origin to Brahmins, and going by the claims of Nairs themselves, a Gangetic Kshatriya origin and migration is what looks most likely.

I understand that in the spiritual tradition, the Vedas are seen as eternal truths preserved by the gods but we cannot deny the material traditions.

>Nairs fall on a cline along these two points
ethnogenesis should be based on ancestry not autosomal dna admixture.
>Nairs cline to a higher India_M:Farmer ratio point than that of Nambudiri Brahmins
isn't a very strong evidence to show that they are descended from a non-brahmin group considering that they could have picked that up from maternal lines but yes its something that could be used in a discussion.
>it's safe to conclude that they are of a distinct origin to Brahmins
most likely majority of them are of distinct origins but a Gangetic Kshatriya origin is still far-fetched. No Gangu Kshatriya operated south of Vindhyas.
