Chapter 1: The Indus and the Ganges

God is one. Allah is the Arabic word for God. He sent Prophets. Prophets were sent to every nation throughout history (India included) to preach the worship of one God. There are 124,000 prophets in total. Prophet Muhammad is the Seal of the Prophets (Khatam un Nabiyeen).

"Allah sent a prophet to every nation to preach the worship of one God" [Quran 16:36]

"Allah sends messengers speaking the language of their own people to ensure the message is made clear" [Quran 14:4]. (The message was delivered in Vedic Sanskrit and the Harappan language too, the core message of monotheism, to worship one God)

"Many messengers were sent before Prophet Muhammad, some mentioned in the Quran and others not." [Quran 40:78] (The messengers sent to the Indian subcontinent are not mentioned in the Quran)

There are many other such ayats in Quran (10:47, 35:24, etc.), but I don't want to go into that now.

The two great civilizations once flourished along the two rivers in the Indian subcontinent: the Indus and the Ganges. The Indus Valley civilization declined, but the Gangetic civilization continues to this date. What exactly went wrong with IVC? Historians couldn't provide a convincing answer to this.

My Quranic hypothesis is that IVC was destroyed by Allah, like Qaum-e-Aad, Qaum-e-Samood, Qaum-e-Loot. They were destroyed for rejecting their prophets sent unto them by Allah. You can read more about them in Quran, if you're interested. Qaum-e-Loot ka Waqia is also mentioned in Bible.

Panjab is a cursed land which was once inflicted by Allah ka Azab like Sodom and Gomorrah. They rejected the prophet that was sent unto them. This explains the decline of the IVC. The curse is passed on to the Present-day Pakistan.

Gangetic civilization accepted the Prophet of Allah that was sent unto them and the religion preached by him, the Ancient Vedic religion, a monotheistic religion.

Vedas are Asmani Kitab revealed by Allah, but like Tawrat, Zabur, and Injil, which were corrupted (Tahrif) later by Jews, Vedas were also later corrupted (Tahrif) by Brahmins over thousands of years, long after their prophet was gone.

Indus is a cursed river, Ganga is a holy river. Panjab is a cursed land, Doab is a blessed land. Promised Land by Allah to True Aryans like Israel to Jews. Harappan language is extinct, Sanskrit is alive to this date.

Meluhha was the Sumerian name for IVC. This became Mleccha in Sanskrit.
