Thoughts on Sri Aurobindo?

His book The Life Divine seems like maximum cognitive load, must've been a massive big brain jeet to build such a metaphysical architecture where every concept has a precise, technical definition and a specific location in a hierarchy.

I am just looking at overviews of the The Life Divine, haven't read it yet.
From what I've seen, it's one of those books you should put in effort reading without acquiring comprehension because just as struggling to lift a heavy weight builds muscle even if you cannot fully lift it, the sheer mental effort of trying to understand a difficult book builds the brain strength needed to fight memory loss, regardless of whether you actually understand the text.

I suggest taking it on after you have read some basic dharmic lit deeply. Because ofcourse you can do a surface skim
But a deep reading is where it comes alive
We honestly do not celebrate our intellectual heroes from this Era enough. Aurobindo was a big brain big dick nogga of his era

From what I've seen, there is indeed some evidence that mentally challenging activities like reading are associated with better memory and slower cognitive decline
