>there are significant differences between the shakhas (branches/recensions) of the Yajurveda, primarily divided into the Shukla (White) Yajurveda and the Krishna (Black) Yajurveda. The main distinction lies in the separation of mantras (Samhita) and explanations (Brahmana); Shukla features them separately, while Krishna mixes them.

>there are distinct differences between the surviving shakhas (branches or recensions) of the Samaveda, primarily in their arrangement of hymns (samhita), associated Brahmana texts, and geographical prevalence. While traditionally 1,000 branches existed, only three (Kauthuma, Ranayaniya, and Jaiminiya) remain, with Kauthuma being the most prominent.

>Samhita Arrangement: The Kauthuma samhita consists of two main parts: the Purvarcika and the Uttararcika, containing a total of 1,875 verses, 1,771 of which are derived from the Rigveda. The Jaiminiya tradition maintains a different ordering of these verses.

>Brahmana Texts: The Kauthuma shakha is associated with the Pancavimsha and Sadvimsha Brahmanas. Conversely, the Jaiminiya shakha possesses its own distinct Jaiminiya Brahmana.

Geographical Spread: The Kauthuma shakha is commonly followed in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal. The Ranayaniya is found in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and parts of Odisha/Andhra Pradesh, while the Jaiminiya is mainly prevalent in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

>जिन ब्राह्मणो के वो यजमान थे उनकी वैदिक शाखा भी लुप्त हो गई ।

That won't explain how did larger majority of sama veda got lost, since sama veda would be saturated towards east while the invasion would have taken place from West. It also won't make sense how other branches ended up staying infact.

Of Alchon Huns did kill the older and the former Kshatriya, and the real Kshatriya of nation died in that instance (whoever they may be) then it still won't make sense that the branches will not survive.

I have no say in the existence of the real vs neo Kshatriya entities, but branches being lost will be a different subject entirely. Most because of the fact that majority of surving sakha that do now exist, such as the incomplete sakha that were found in Kashmir and Odissa, both had their rajput families, which would imply the "former" kshatriya got displaced entirely.

It also makes even less sense since their is no evidence of who the original Kshatriyas were by this logic. But that is upto rest of you to decide.

>there are significant differences between the shakhas (branches/recensions) of the Atharvaveda, primarily between the two surviving traditions: the Shaunakiya and the Paippalada. While tradition mentions nine shakhas, only these two are currently available, with distinct variations in their arrangement, content, and number of hymns.

>Structure and Content: The Shaunakiya tradition (common in South India) has 20 books (Kandas), 730 hymns, and approximately 5,987 mantras. The Paippalada tradition (prevalent in Kashmir/Odisha) often has a different order of hymns, contains a larger amount of material not found in Shaunakiya, and possesses significant textual variations

>Accessibility: The Shaunakiya is the dominant, widely recognized samhita, whereas the Paippalada exists in far fewer, sometimes fragmented, manuscripts.

>Differences in Rituals: As they are different schools of learning, they may have slight variations in the application of hymns for specific rituals or in their associated Brahmanas.
