Bihar eastern up is source of all major religions in India post hinduism,
>Jainism
>Buddhism
>Sikhism
In fact, same region was hub for North Black Polish Ware culture which coincides with first set of urbanization post fall IVC and it was first pan india culture.
It takes over the PGW culture. Ayodhya ram temple excavations saw NBPW artifacts.
In fact it is highly likely that what we perceive as puranic hinduism it was result of success of NBPW absorbing pgw culture. Both of which may be sharing lot in common than we realize.

>The diagnostic artifact and namesake of this culture is the Northern Black Polished Ware, a luxury style of burnished pottery used by elites.
>This period is associated with the emergence of Indian subcontinent's first large cities since the decline of the Indus Valley civilization; this re-urbanization was accompanied by massive embankments and fortifications, significant population growth, increased social stratification, wide-ranging trade networks, specialized craft industries (e.g., carving of ivory, conch shells, and semi-precious stones), a system of weights, punch-marked coins, and writing (in the form of Brahmi and Kharosthi scripts, including inscribed stamp seals).[7]

Pic related is PGW culture ware, as the name suggested the wares were painted with certain art.
NBPW artificats were superior to the point they were reused almost 2000 years later by the elites due to their quality.

Is NBPW the earliest pottery of IA found in bihar region or was the region populated during neolithic and later bronze age by any culture?
Also indian archeology is so under studied unlike European one where there so many kino prehistoric cultures and we know so much about them .
