Second, majority jeet gamers have dogshit taste who only consume big budget hyper realistic movie slop(taste is the biggest factor here imo)

trvke and this problem exists in korea too. They've only really made gacha games. Recently some good games have been made such as lies of P and stellar blade which makes me think that korean games have a very very bright future.

There's lots of issues apart from
>everyone is busy grinding - poor country - not enough time for exploring these interests apart from trying to earn money
indians in general - in gaming scene are still not in experimental phase.
so if there's no market it's difficult for devs to justify exploration beyond it.
when you have limited resource, scope of opportunity you will play safe - so you are most likely to repeat and work through the existing framework...

at best our chances to explore our passion begins with getting some wagie and doing passion projects in parallel - and hope...
there are good devs, good artists even this anon look at his art, or motiv anon, pixel anon...so good.
to allocate resources to this guys, none of them have primary job or interest as just 'gamers'...
look at our average gamer range...he is busy grinding for meme exams. only leftovers are those from class who prefer free fire type games.
or older college goers or maybe those in late 20s...
until recently the late 20s who had interest in games in india were limited but slowly it's increasing. i believe in few years we will have better chance.
