should I download it ?

I've played this "game" long ago.

It's a novel. The aesthetics and the "presentation" is great, but the story is "okay", the true antagonist is just... stupid, and there's no gameplay. At one point the story stretches a lot and there's lot of padding if you want to see the "true" ending.

Inland Empire is an important skill.

Also, Volition.

It's good, but not that great tbh.

You'll miss some important details of the "world" without it. Eg. Your tie will speak to you and there's a great moment with your tie at one point.

The skill half-light is as good as Inland Empire. A different voice actor speaks in our mind with this skill like the tie of Inland Empire.

Since the game has a Lot of Talking I believe that the Intellect and Psyche skill tress are more important than Physique and Motorics in general so as to acess most of the content out of your run.

I have set my signature at Suggestion skill of psyche in this run with 6 points in psyche, 4 points in Intellect, 1 point both in Physique and Motorics.

I will try to avoid physical conflicts as much as possible because without good clothes my character will die in one hit.

I can't say yaar. The tie has one of the best moments in the game, and you can get it only through Inland Empire check (and doing some sidequests).

All these inner voices try to argue, sabotage, manipulate and even freeze you. Volition is like the inner voice that always protects you. Inland Empire is the gut instinct that tries to communicate something to you but it speaks in riddles that makes sense only in hindsight. It's just my opinion. You can also play as Sherlock Holmes who is purely analytical and has no room for emotions.

There are "multiple" ways to solve the quests but there isn't much experience lying around as you can't grind in a "game" that has no combat so it's better to stick with a path and specialize through it. You can be the aggressive cop, you can be the empathetic cop, and you can be the rational cop. The yellow skills don't really mean much in my opinion.

Yes, lot of talking and there's no combat in this game. Maybe there's only one "combat" and that too is just a die roll conversation. You can try to adjust and buff stats using clothes and accessories too. They exist to make sure that you don't lock yourself with shit stats.
