Remote controlled fan

Should I buy one of these boxes 500 on amazon but might be way less in the local market or a completely different remote control fan which shows up on amazon as 2.5- 3.5k maybe a little less in the local market?

If those boxes don't come with any warranty maybe I buy two of them as insurance or somethang. I am guessing it's pajeet tech and will damage within a year or two (the ceiling fan remote of 3k ) at which point, I would have to repair it using the aforementioned box anyways so isn't it better to buy a lot of such boxes?

Which way IITman?

You would think that such boxes would cost like 100 or something but look at this. Damn

just watch few remote controlled bldc fan repairing videos on youtube to get insights about the inner circuit. gawar mechanics give more detailed info on electronics equipments than popular spec reading youtubers.

I have watched them and know how to do it. I am asking whether getting a fan or getting one of these would be better off.

>gawar mechanics give more detailed info

Trve, I specifically look for the video with the least views and dirty bg for accurate information. If it's a gawar mechanic and has lots of views, it's gonna be a video with reading specs by the mechanic and nothing else. If it has technical bhaiya 10M subscriber count, it's gonna be a gawar pajeet with meme degree wasting your time

What is the lifespan of those fans and those separate boxes? That should have been my question

bldc fans?

i'm not sure about it. local fans with aluminium coil can last upto 3-4 years if you don't run it for 10+ continuous hours.

so bldc fan should last longer because most them use high quality copper coil.

baaki controller to tumhari kismat par hai, china item chale to chand tak nahi to sham tak.

Ok so when those controllers get destroyed, there must be something that the mechanics use to replace them with right? Or do they ask you to replace the whole fan set.
