But brother the thing is that most original vedic castes are extinct already after mahabharat. We see a big Y DNA bottleneck around that time. Most original kshatriyas are extinct, now all u see is just shudras who gained power and started claiming rajput ancestry (famous example is marathas). Lot of brahmins have converted to other religions. (Eg hussaini brahmins, kashmiri pandits, even chanakya was a converted brahmin who became jain). Also how many brahmins you see who follow their traditions of learning vedas and doing homa everyday? Not a lot.

My point is that all indians are just premutation and combination of ANI and ASI so all of us are mixed. Yes i know the genetic distance among castes within a village is higher than the distance between neighbouring european groups or whatever. But it is irrelevant.

People with high AASI are doing good in intellectual spaces like ISRO and doctors etc. Meanwhile people with high ANI like jaat gurjar are just plain dumb. So its not like the ANI or ASI component matters that much. All indians are round about 80-90 IQ with some outliers obviously.

If we allow a free marriage market then girls will automatically select the tall, handsome and rich boys and make the short, ugly and poor genetics extinct. But since we dont allow women to have a choice in reproduction, often you will see a super cute hot biwi with a below average short and ugly boy who has sarkaari naukri. This is anti eugenic.

High iq individuals became pandits, administrators(kshatriya) and capitalists(vaishya) while midwits became farmers and craftsmen and low iq individuals became toilet cleaners and leather tanners because those jobs were intellectually easy and not competitive. These groups have been marrying within for centuries if not millenia. Doesnt matter when this sorting happened. Genes for intelligence have got concentrated among upper castes so their descendants naturally excel in academics and overrepresented in white collar jobs. LCs resent it but it is what it is. It takes high IQ to make intricate designs in pottery, or to turn hide into leather and mold it into different items or to plan out according to the weather and plant seeds for farming, and tending to the crops daily. Compared to this the brahmins, kshatriyas etc have easier time intellectually, as the brahmin or bania just has to be a scribe and write down stuff, do addition subtraction, etc. This is a middle man with no value addition honestly. Even the kings would stand behind their army and let them battle it out, most of the army was common people who did the actual work.

No it doesnt. Crafts dont require high iq because they are repetitive jobs. Any midwit can be trained to do repetitive tasks which is why vocational jobs are recommended for average students. Leather tanning was an even easier trade because it was an unwanted stinky job so had little competition. OTOH it requires high iq to be a priest. They were scholars who memorized hymns, studied religious laws, astrology, architecture(vastu), philosophy and acted as advisors to kings. Their job is intellectualy much more challenging.
