He was made somewhat of a scapegoat. The Congress govt told him not to shut down kingfisher when he wanted to. They gave him loans from a consortium of banks. Then when shit hit the fan they threw him under the bus. I went to school with the son of one of his top executives. i still believe he was a half decent guy atleast. Anyways, air india was garbage compared to kingfisher airlines. Better food, cabin experience and hotter air hostess who were more polite. Chodi ji should pardon him. they got back the money he owed.
