In similar situation mate. I lost my job two years ago due to poor performance and health reasons. Since then I just teach neighborhood kids. But last student I had was 6 months ago and I stopped tutoring him after 3 classes stating lack of time. I have no hope of landing any job now.
All my peers have cumulative experience of 10 years now at 30. 20 years down the line how will I cope that I wasted this life.
Btw I lie to everyone that I teach but in reality I just game, waste my time on chans etc. I'm just tired of it all. I don't see any point in getting married in this shithole of a cuntry anyway.

Recently I had to apply for some documents for my whole family online, because everything is digital now. I have no idea what I did, and my parents had no idea too, I did my best watching jewtube videos, reading instructions, etc. We had to go to a centre for verification and approval on a specific date, and only reaching there I realized that one of them didn't bring an important proof (they did mention this document but it was casually mentioned in a single line and none of the videos or websites mentioned this), and it was very hard for me to take care of them both while they were getting verified.
They didn't know how to read the computer to verify the data that they will be submitting, my dad has gone deaf and he can't hear the instructions so I had to be near him and instruct him, and when the proof was missing they both started asking me "did you check did you check why didn't you check this that" and i was getting very irritated and agitated and everyone were looking at us. One old lady said "show some mercy we are old we don't know anything" and I had grit my teeth and tolerate the hysteria.
They've grown old, unable to keep up with rapid changes around them, and their own deteriorating brain and body. I felt very bad that I didn't do whatever things that are expected like marriage and settling in a job while they were functional 10+ years ago. Now, I feel the burden of having to take care of them when they are so helpless.

I wanted to start learning C++ but seeing all the layoffs and stuff I don't know. There are no jobs here in my hometown. And, I don't really want to leave my place to go search for a job. So my best hope is to get some remote job and earn just enough to survive. I could also do streaming and gaming but I don't think anyone would watch me. That is still I plan to do for a year at least.
