Most of these MBBS bhangis would just be GPs in Europe or America but that is just a glorified nurse and most of these daktar chamars are too greedy to be relegated to such a simple role.
Not to mention it would turn India's healthcare soystem in to a bureaucratic mess like Jewrope's where you need to wait a week to have an appointment with the ENT specialist after GP recommendation. In a country where patients are already dying even during right intervention, this would be a nightmare.
So these mbbs bhangis are stuck in a limbo, neither are they ready to accept coolie wages and be the equivalent of a GP nor they have enough money nor talent to pursue MD and further specialization.

Not to mention nobody wants to visit a GP in here unless its a clinic nearby. So that position is basically dead unless you have money to start your own clinic. If they want an appointment with a heart or liver specialist, they book one immeidately instead of going through the beaureucratic mess that Jewropeans go through to get an appointment.
